On Saturday, 23 June 2018, at the 49th Assembly of the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia, before 450 delegates and guests from Serbia and over 30 countries of the world, the outgoing Grand Master of the RGLS, Brother Ranko Vujačić, handed over the office to the newly elected Grand Master of the RGLS, Brother Lukas Rasulić. On this occasion, a new team of RGLS officers was also elected.
The handover ceremony took place in an excellent and solemn atmosphere, with addresses by the representatives of all the foreign delegations, and we were shown a particular honour by the presence of the Pro Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE), Brother Peter Lowndes, and the Grand Chancellor of the UGLE, Brother Derek Dinsmore.
Following the inauguration and the conclusion of the Assembly, a gala dinner was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade before more than 600 guests.
