Our Very Worshipful Brother Velimir-Bata Žugić, born in Sombor, has made a personal donation to the History Department of the City Museum of Sombor.
According to the museum’s statement, “this is a valuable bequest of historical material for the history of Freemasonry in Serbia and for international cooperation with Lodges around the world”.
“This extraordinary material also sheds light on the personal engagement of the bequeather, Velimir-Bata Žugić, within the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia (RGLS) and his international activities in world Freemasonry. The diversity and unity of the material provided is already expressed in the name of the bequest, which, at the bequeather’s wish, is called “My Life in the Royal Art”.
“The City Museum of Sombor most warmly thanks Mr Žugić for his wish and decision that his native city should possess a rare and significant bequest that will enrich the cultural heritage of the city”.
