Our Brother Velimir-Bata Žugić recently donated his collection of books, predominantly on the history of art — our own and that of other cultures — to the City Museum in Sombor.
We should never forget that charity is a precious and honoured way to support the work and activities of institutions that preserve and nurture our past and present, while also caring for the future of humanity.
Museums, libraries and archives are not merely houses where mere relics of the past, antiquities, legacies and the like are left. Great and significant works of renowned scientists, researchers and creators of the finest literary, painterly and musical works are preserved there. That is why every doing of good, as a personal act, represents one small step in our lives — when small things can become great!
