Members of the research Lodge “Quatuor Coronati”, under the protection of the RGLS, accepted the invitation of the Iberian Centre for Masonic Studies (cienmas.org), which set the theme: Freemasonry in South-Eastern Europe. Our members (R.P., D.M. and V.J.) competed with the submitted paper “A DIPTYCH FROM THE HISTORY OF SERBIAN FREEMASONRY: Freemasonry on the eve of and during the Second World War“.
This research paper by three of our Brethren, amid very strong competition among all the other papers submitted by numerous Masonic Lodges of Europe, made it to the shortlist and reached the final of the competition. The victory in the Competition went to the paper by Bro. Iordanis Poulkouras, a member of the Lodge “Prometheus 37” from Athens, entitled “The founding of the Greek Free Masonry”.
This success is particularly notable because it was the first participation of the RGLS with its representative in an international competition. Cienmas will publish both papers in its publication. The paper will be published in the next issue of “Ars Regia” of the Lodge “Quatuor Coronati”.
