Lodge No. 4 “Garibaldi” from Nikšić, working under the protection of the Grand Lodge of Montenegro, unanimously decided at its working to elect our Brother Velimir-Bata Žugić as its Honorary Member.
According to the Lodge’s statement: “this decision was made on the basis of the many years of work by Brother Bata Žugić in strengthening the fraternal Chain of universal Freemasonry, particularly within the numerous Lodges around the world that bear the honorable name of our Brother Giuseppe Garibaldi and spread the ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity, as well as his work in creating stronger ties between the Grand Lodges within which these Lodges work”.
Brother Velimir-Bata Žugić expresses his great gratitude to the Brethren of the Garibaldi Lodge, as well as to the Brethren of the Grand Lodge of Montenegro and the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Montenegro, Brother Božo Šibalić. The RGLS and the Grand Lodge of Montenegro, as well as the Brethren in the Lodges, enjoy a traditionally good mutual fraternal cooperation and a long-standing cordial friendship.
