Lecture by Brother Arturo de Hoyos

On Friday, 17 June, at the Ilija Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade, a lecture was held by Brother Arturo de Hoyos of the United States of America — one of the foremost experts on Freemasonry in the world today.

Brother de Hoyos currently holds the office of Grand Archivist of the Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, USA. He is also the Grand Historian of the Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, USA. He carries out his work at the House of the Temple in Washington, DC, where he also serves as Director of Education, History and the Great Heritage. He manages the Archive, the Library and the Museum. Arturo de Hoyos is also an author, editor and translator of some 50 books on Freemasonry.

He is the holder of numerous honorary titles, distinctions and awards, such as the title of Past Master of “McAllen Lodge” No. 1110, from Texas, USA.
He travels very frequently and delivers a great many lectures on Freemasonry, taking part in numerous television programmes dedicated to Freemasonry across the USA and around the world. He is also a good linguist: German, Spanish, French; he uses Russian and has a basic knowledge of Latin and Hebrew.
