On Saturday, 6 June, the “European Conference of Grand Masters” was held in Belgrade, organized by the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia — the largest Masonic gathering ever held in our country.
This conference brought together the Grand Masters of regular Grand Lodges and their delegations from 44 European countries, including the largest European Masonic Lodges, such as the United Grand Lodge of England, the United Grand Lodges of Germany, the Grand Lodge of Russia and others. At the same time, the conference in Belgrade represents the largest Masonic gathering in the world this year.
At this gathering, important themes for Freemasonry around the world were discussed, with particular reference to the contribution of Freemasonry to the overall development of humanity, and especially to development in Europe. Numerous guests also had the opportunity to become acquainted with the potential of Serbia and to consider the steps that the state of Serbia and the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia are taking towards improving the position of our country in the world.
In the run-up to the “European Conference of Grand Masters”, a reception for all the foreign delegations was held on Friday, 5 June, at the “Privrednik” Club in Belgrade.
