22. 3. 2015.

By the authorization of the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the RGLS, Bro. Ranko Vujačić, the Deputy Grand Master of the RGLS, Bro. L.R., at the invitation of the GRANDE ORIENTE D’ITALIA (Grand Orient of Italy) and its Grand Master Bro. Stefano Bisi, took part in the memorial gathering “No dimenticare” (Lest we forget), organized by the GOI and the regional association of Lodges of the Friuli-Venezia region, held in Trieste from 6 to 8 March 2015.
The immediate occasion for the Memorial gathering was the Masonic commemoration and expert forum marking the centenary of the Great War, under the name “From the wound of the First World War to the reconstruction of European Conscience”.
On Saturday, 7 March 2015, the Grand Master of the GOI, Bro. Stefano Bisi, together with the representatives of the Grand Lodges, laid a wreath at the cemetery of the Italian soldiers who fell in the First World War.
Within the Memorial gathering, numerous expert and public activities were also organized. One of the main activities was a forum concerned with presenting the life of people during the First World War in the region. Great applause was also received by the address of the Deputy Grand Master of the RGLS, which, in addition to its general part, also consisted of the address of the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the RGLS, Bro. Ranko Vujačić, delivered at Avala in 2014 on the occasion of the laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Hero, during the marking of 100 years since the First World War as part of the activities that accompanied the Assembly of the RGLS.
This visit to the international Memorial Masonic gathering, organized by the Grand Orient of Italy, was exceptionally important for the RGLS, as the good relations between the RGLS and the Grand Orient of Italy, as well as between the RGLS and the Grand Lodges present at the gathering, were further strengthened.
