At the invitation of the Brethren of the Lodge “Evropa” from Tuzla, a joint Ritual Working was held with the Lodge “Evropa” from Belgrade in Sarajevo on 28 March 2015, as a return visit to the Brethren who had carried out such a joint working in Belgrade on 8 April 2014. The first and very positive impressions of the high level of organization and the seriousness with which the Lodge Evropa from Tuzla approached the organization of the event were gained already upon arrival in Sarajevo. In addition to the Worshipful Master and the members of the Lodge, the Brethren from Belgrade were also welcomed by the Very Worshipful Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The hosts organized a tour of Sarajevo. In a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and with the weather in their favour, the Brethren from Belgrade had the opportunity — some again, some for the first time — to enjoy the sights of Sarajevo.
The Ritual Working was held in the Temple owned by the Grand Lodge of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, where the members of the Lodge “Evropa” from Belgrade had the opportunity to see all the care and love that the Brethren had put into arranging their home. At the Working itself, on the First Degree, in addition to the nine Brethren from Belgrade, around forty Brethren from the Lodge “Evropa” from Tuzla were present, as well as representatives of all the other Lodges from BiH — Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar.
After the Working, the hosts organized a ceremonial dinner, also in the Temple itself. In a splendid fraternal atmosphere, the Brethren had the opportunity to become better acquainted and to present the work of the Lodge “Evropa” from Belgrade, as well as the work and achievements of the entire RGLS.
The unanimous assessment of the Brethren present was that the joint working had been very successful. The basic aims of this working — the spreading of the fraternal chain, of shared Masonic values, and the search for the Light and the glory of the spirit — were fully achieved. With the intention of continuing this positive contribution, a new return visit by the Brethren of the Lodge “Evropa” from Tuzla, as well as by Brethren from other Lodges, was agreed, along with the regular annual holding of a joint Ritual Working.
