The Most Worshipful Grand Master of the “Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia”, Bro. Ranko Vujačić, received at a ceremonial working, within the Annual Assembly of the “Grand Lodge of Finland”, the highest recognition of the GLF — the “GREAT MEDAL OF MERIT — as a recognition of fraternal cooperation and for personal Masonic merits”, which was presented to him personally by the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Finland, Bro. Juhani Vuori.
This recognition, together with a framed charter signed by the Grand Master of the GL of Finland and a gold medal on a ribbon, was presented today at a ceremony at the Grand Lodge of Finland in Helsinki. Incidentally, apart from our Most Worshipful Grand Master, this recognition has so far been conferred only on the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodges of Germany, Bro. Christoph Bosbach.
At the Festive Board, attended by more than 600 guests (including all the Grand Lodges of Northern Europe), which was held after the ritual working, the Grand Master of the RGL of Serbia, Bro. Ranko Vujačić, delivered a greeting address on behalf of all some twenty foreign delegations and Grand Masters, and thanked the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Finland, as well as the Brethren of the Grand Lodge of Finland, for this great recognition conferred upon him — which he said he regarded as a recognition of the successful work and development of Freemasonry, not only in Serbia, but in the whole of South-Eastern Europe.
